Federal Judge Dismisses Lawsuit Against City - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit against the City of Lubbock and Mayor Marc McDougal. Late Friday afternoon, Judge Sam Cummings threw out Oscar Renda Contractors suit against the city.

The lawsuit claimed the city defamed the company's image and broke state law when the council awarded work on a city drainage project to the second lowest bidder.
