Drug For Restless Leg Syndrome

Finally, a drug for restless leg syndrome.

"Requip" is the first FDA approved drug for the treatment of restless leg syndrome in adults. That syndrome describes a neurological disorder that causes a person's limbs to involuntarily twitch and often burn and tingle while they're trying to sleep.

Requip works by targeting dopamine centers in the brain. And if the drug sounds familiar, that's because it has already been used in the treatment of Parkinson's disease.
