Rear house destroyed in fire in 1900 block of 22nd Street

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

A rear house and a fence sustained heavy damage on Tuesday night, when a fire broke out in the 1900 block of 22nd Street.

Lubbock Fire Rescue responded to the call around 10 p.m. Fortunately, they were able to put the fire out before it spread to any other structures.

No injuries were reported, but the small structure was a total loss.

The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time. The Lubbock Fire Rescue's Fire Marshal's Office is asking anyone with information related to this fire to please call Crime Line at (806) 741-1000 or the Fire Marshal's Office at (806) 775-2646.
