Police find missing Lubbock woman, arrested on outstanding warrant

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Detectives with the Lubbock Police Department have found a woman who had been missing since August 4, 2016. 

According to police, 37-year-old Emily Jeanette Guitierrez Valadez heard she had been reported missing and flagged down firefighters with the Lubbock Fire Department. 

When police responded, she was arrested for outstanding warrants.

She is in jail on charges of issuing a bad check and was booked into the jail on Thursday evening around 9:30 p.m.
