LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Lubbock police say a rollover that happened in the 1300 block of 19th Street around 11 a.m. started as a domestic disturbance with shots fired.

Police say a woman in an SUV was chasing her ex, who was driving a green vehicle. The man told police the woman fired a shot at him and continued the chase.

She pulled up close as they entered downtown. Fearing another shot, the man swerved into her, causing her SUV to roll.

The man drove off from the scene in the green vehicle, telling police he feared for his life. The woman in the SUV ran from the scene. Police know who she is, but no arrests have been made as of Thursday afternoon. Police anticipate filing aggravated assault charges when she is found.

The man came back to the scene in a different vehicle to speak with police.

There were no injuries in the crash.
