Truck Flips on 82nd & Quaker

A 37-year-old man was injured in South Lubbock Sunday. The accident happened around 82nd and Quaker just before 6:30pm.

Police say 23-year-old Daren Brooks was turning onto Quaker from 80th when he pulled out in front of a Ford Ranger. The truck hit the side of the Saturn and then flipped.

The driver of the truck, 37-year-old William Holtzclaw, was taken to Covenant Medical Center but has since been treated and released. The driver of the Saturn was not injured.
