Lubbock Police partner with Nextdoor to improve city-wide communications

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Information provided by the Lubbock Police Department

The Lubbock Police Department is excited to announce a partnership with Nextdoor, the private social network for neighborhoods, to improve city-wide and neighbor-to-neighbor communications.

This partnership with Nextdoor will enable the Lubbock Police Department to use Nextdoor to build stronger, safer communities with the help of Lubbock residents. The Lubbock Police Department and Nextdoor neighborhoods will be able to work together to increase safety and strengthen virtual neighborhood watch.

Having the ability to easily communicate with residents is extremely vital to not only maintaining, but also increasing safety and reducing crime within our communities. With Nextdoor, we can help empower neighbors to keep their communities safe and connected, as well as give them the ability to collaborate on neighborhood watch efforts.
