Slaton Passes Meth Ordinance In First Reading - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Slaton may soon join Lubbock in its effort to stop people from making meth with over the counter medicine.

Tuesday, the Slaton City Council tentatively approved a meth ordinance that would force drug stores to keep products containing pseudoephedrine behind counters.

If the council approves the ordinance next month, it would become effective, in Slaton, immediately.
