House and Senate leaders will debate their school finance reform bills next week.

Wednesday, the Senate approved its version of the bill which would increase taxes on shoppers, smokers, drinkers and business. Senators dropped a statewide property tax proposal. The plan is part of a massive school finance plan aimed at reducing property taxes.
