Slaton has tentatively approved a similar ordinance and now the state wants to follow suit. Wednesday, the Senate approved a bill that aims to reduce methamphetamine use.
The state's plan would place similar restrictions on where pseudoephedrine products could be sold, but so far there is no mention of a customer registry like the one in place in Lubbock.
