Lubbock man indicted, charged in stabbing at Hunter's Way Apartments

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

A Lubbock grand jury indicted Zachary Smyser for aggravated assault with bodily injury with a deadly weapon on Tuesday.

Smyser was arrested last month, accused of stabbing someone in the neck after an argument broke out at the Hunter's Way Apartments, on the 5500 block of 56th street.

He was taken into custody at the scene.

The victim was taken to Covenant Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries.
