Audi Lubbock breaks ground on West Loop 289

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Alderson Auto Group celebrated the ground breaking of Audi Lubbock. It will be the only authorized location for West Texas and New Mexico. The groundbreaking started at 10 a.m. Friday morning at 1949 West Loop 289.

The Alderson Auto Group already represents five luxury car brands in the area, and they say they're excited to be adding Audi to the family.

"I think any driving enthusiast is going to love Audi, we found out last week there's already an Audi car club out here in West Texas, and so we'll be anxious to have a sales and service facility for them," said David Alderson, CEO of Alderson Enterprises.

This new addition marks Alderson Auto Group's first location on the west side of Lubbock. Audi Lubbock is set to open in May of 2017.
