LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

During the month of October, a portion of all dinner proceeds at Stella's will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

This is in loving memory of Dorothea Kay Poland, who lost her battle to breast cancer in 2004.

Dorothea's son, Jeff Poland, is the manager at Stella's and said this is the second year they have donated to the foundation in memory of his mother.

Poland said last year, Stella's donated $9,000.

There will also be a Komen Happy Hour from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 19.

Stella's offers several drink specials and provides live music.
