Letter Carriers Hope to Stamp Out Hunger

Nearly every day of the year their job is to drop things off. But this week, Lubbock letter carriers hope to pick things up, like 85,000 pounds of food to be exact.

The 13th annual Stamp Out Hunger food drive begins Saturday To participate all you have to do is leave a donation of canned food in a bag by your mail box. Lubbock letter carriers will pick them up on their daily routes.

All of the donations will benefit the South Plains Food Bank.

The blood donation process is easy. Most donors find it a painless and heartwarming experience.
