Texas Tech quarterback Patrick Mahomes II was named the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award National Player of the Week Tuesday, adding the honor to the two others he'd already earned this week.

In addition to the award Tuesday, Mahomes was named Big 12 Co-Player of the Week on Monday and was tabbed as one of eight "Stars of the Week" by the Manning Award.

Mahomes also tacked on a career-high 85 rushing yards, accruing two touchdowns, placing him second on the list of career-rushing touchdowns scored by Tech quarterbacks at 19.

A Whitehouse, TX native, Mahomes has a firm lead among FBS quarterbacks with 3,313 passing yards this season. He also leads the country in total offense (3,550 yards), total offense per game (507.1 yards), points responsible for (210 total) and points responsible for per game (30).
