Phase II Blocks TTU Students From Free Parking

Phase II of the Marsha Sharp Freeway project got underway Monday.

Drivers shouldn't see too many changes in the coming months but what you will see is crews moving a lot of dirt near Brownfield Highway and 4th Street.

The Town and Country parking lot on 4th and University is also now closed and will no longer be accessible to Texas Tech students.

Construction on the Marsha Sharp Freeway is still ahead of schedule. But the current plan would mean the orange cones and speed zones don't disappear until the year 2022
