Garza County Escapee Captured In Mexico With Accomplice - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A Garza County inmate's run from the law is over.

22-year-old Matthew Norman escaped from the Garza County Jail more than 3 weeks ago. Authorities caught up with him in Mexico last Wednesday. Norman was extradited back to Post where he appeared before a Garza County Judge Tuesday, facing new charges of escape and tampering with a government record.

Norman's alleged accomplice, Randi Barker, was captured elsewhere. She was also returned to Garza County, and is now charged in connection with Norman's escape.
