Lubbock Family Loses Home To Lightning - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

It was a house that was about to become a home for a Lubbock County family, but lightning changed all of that.

It was undergoing major remodeling at 11810, FM 1264 North of the city. The McNeil family and their seven children were planning to move in at the end of the month. But, during Sunday night's storm, it caught fire after lighting struck it. The family did not have insurance.
