LISD Elementary School Placed On Lockdown - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

NewsChannel 11 has learned that a Lubbock elementary school was put on lockdown Thursday afternoon.

LISD Spokesperson Nancy Sharp tells us a man evading police, took a short cut by running through the halls of Ramirez Charter School. Lubbock Police arrested the man after he ran out of the building. The students were immediately locked inside classrooms.

The incident started around 1:50pm Thursday and students were released on time without incident.
