Lubbock Adds Eight To Mounted Patrol Unit - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Lubbock's newest graduates are ready to hit the streets of Lubbock, on all fours.

The Lubbock Police Department honored eight graduates and their horses in the Mounted Patrol Graduation Ceremony Friday afternoon. Graduates completed 40 hours of training to get their certificates.

The mounted patrol is a volunteer unit that helps with crowd control and neighborhood patrol.
