SWAT Standoff With Man Barricaded Inside Home With Friend

The SWAT Team was called to FM 41 and Indiana in South Lubbock County early Monday morning.

A man barricaded himself in his home with a shotgun and threatened to kill himself and a friend. The friend was able to escape. SWAT had to use a paintball gun to get the man to surrender.

The 51-year-old is now undergoing a mental evaluation at UMC.
