Lubbock County Commissioners Approve Date Of Wolfforth Alcohol Sales Election

In September, Wolfforth voters will put the issue of alcohol sales to a vote.

On Monday, Lubbock County Commissioners approved an election for September 10th. The ballot will ask voters to approve the legalization of on-site alcohol sales. The election is the result of a petition started by a group called "Responsible Citizens for Economic Development."

The group believes alcohol sales will help bring a minor league baseball team to Wolfforth.
