LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Representatives from 73 nonprofits came together today for a Giving Tuesday campaign here in Lubbock.

They are trying to raise $175,000 for Giving Tuesday this year.

This marks the second year that local nonprofits are working hand in hand for the city-wide campaign.

Melisa Dudley, Director of Development for Alstrom Angels said, "It's the one day a year that we all come together and participate in helping each other get donations and raise the awareness of what your nonprofit does as well."

You can donate to the general fund or to specific nonprofits.

Donations are accepted at any United, Market Street or Amigos location here in Lubbock until midnight.
