Lubbock Police have identified the suspect, they believe, is responsible for running a car into a southwest Lubbock apartment complex Sunday.
The accident happened around 3:30am Sunday at the Windy Ridge Apartments near 50th and Chicago. Police say the vehicle jumped the curb and hit a car, a fence, a wall, and finally the apartment building.
The driver then fled the scene. Officers caught up with the man a short time later, and released him pending the filing of charges. He is expected to be charged for failure to leave information at an accident scene.
