Troopers identify victim in fatal Crosby County crash

CROSBY COUNTY, TX (KCBD) -

Troopers with the Department of Public Safety have identified a woman who died in a single-vehicle crash that happened Tuesday afternoon on FM 2794, 14 miles southeast of Crosbyton in Crosby county.

Belvanene Ishmael, 63, of Spur, was driving east on FM 2794 approaching Al O'Banion Dam at White River Lake when she lost control of her Jeep. The Jeep rolled and she was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle. She was taken to Crosbyton Hospital where she later died.
