SPFB Kicks Off Annual Christmas Food Drive

SPFB Kicks Off Annual Christmas Food Drive

The 33rd Annual U Can Share Christmas Food Drive of the South Plains Food Bank is a community-wide effort to feed those in need across the South Plains of Texas.

This year's drive runs Monday, December 5th through Saturday, December 10th.

KCBD NewsChannel11 will be at United Supermarket on 82nd Street and Frankford Avenue every day during the drive to assist the South Plains Food Bank and help make this year the most successful food drive yet.

This year, the goal is 350,000 pounds of canned food and dry goods, to make 270,000 meals that fill twelve 18-wheeler trucks, all going to help hungry West Texans. As you shop for your family, please open your hearts so everyone can enjoy a Christmas dinner this year.
