Dog Collar Gives Lubbock Police Clue In Organized Crime Investigation - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A dog collar has helped Lubbock Police arrest a second suspect in an organized crime investigation.

The number on a dog collar found in a Holiday Inn Express Hotel room Tuesday led police to Julie Akeroyd. She is charged with organized crime and delivery of drugs in a drug free zone.

Just hours earlier, police arrested Rusty Morgan at the Holiday Inn Express on I-27. Police believe the suspects may be responsible for stealing credit card numbers around Lubbock.
