NTSB Releases Cause of January Plane Crash Near Abernathy

The National Transportation Safety Board has completed its investigation into the January plane crash that killed Timothy Vaughn and his 8 year old daughter Madeline near Abernathy.

The report indicates that Vaughn's small plane sustained engine failure. It says he tried to make an emergency landing but the plane crashed, burning the right wing.
