Arson Suspected In Branch Office Bar Fire

Lubbock Fire investigators are looking for the man who drove away from the Branch Office Bar just seconds before flames began shooting from behind the building.

A witness saw a Hispanic man jump into a blue and gray Suburban and drive away from the bar at 34th and York, just after 2am Thursday morning. Seconds later, the storage shed behind the bar was engulfed in flames.

Firefighters were able to put out the fire before it spread to the bar but not before it caused $5,000 worth of damages.
