Tx Attorney General Releases Findings In Sex Offender Study

New details following the startling discovery that sex offenders can use Medicaid to buy Viagra.

On Friday Attorney General Greg Abbott released details of an investigation into the matter. He found that about 191 sex offenders in 60 Texas counties have obtained the drug with Medicaid funds. Two of the offenders then allegedly committed sex crimes shortly after having the prescription filled.

"It is very much akin to giving an arsonists a can of gasoline and a lit match." said Attorney General Greg Abbott.

Abbott says federal action is underway to change the Medicaid rules.
