Grass Fire Ignites in South Lubbock County - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Witnesses say a cigarette thrown from a car window may have started a grass fire in South Lubbock County Monday afternoon. Woodrow volunteer fire fighters were called to County Road 2130 around 4:30 p.m. They were able to put out the fire within minutes.
