Police searching for suspect after guns stolen from parked vehicle

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Investigators with the Lubbock Police Department are searching for a man who was caught on camera stealing a rifle, a pistol and other items from a parked vehicle.

The theft happened on Dec. 17 just after 1 a.m.

The victim noticed items were missing from his truck and checked the surveillance footage. He saw the suspect taking the items out of the unlocked pickup that was parked on 92nd Street and Wayne Ave.

The suspect took a rifle, a pistol and a pair of boots from inside the truck, placed the items inside his small, light colored car, and drove away.
