Bones Found In East Lubbock Belong To Animal

Skeletal remains found in East Lubbock have been ruled "animal remains."

A man walking his dog found the remains near 66th and Ash around 5pm Monday evening. Police blocked off the area and gathered evidence.

Further testing by the Lubbock County Medical Examiner's office has shown the bones to be animal. It's still not know what type of animal.
