The South Plains Wildlife Rehabilitation Center treated injured animals all day Tuesday.
"[Birds] get hit with hail and get head trauma or damaged wings, we've got several of those brought in. From flooding rains, we've gotten baby cottontails, ground squirrels and other ground dwelling animals comin gin that have lost their homes," said Debbie Tennyson, Manager of the South Plains Wildlife Rehabilitation Center.
If you find an injured animal, you're urged to call the Wildlife Center at 799-2142 or you can drop off the animal at the center, located at 95th and Indiana.
