Storm Damage Slowing Down Local Businesses

Storm damage is keeping dent repair shops and roofers busy, but it's also making it hard for some businesses to get any business done at all.

Tire marks in alleys show just how hard it's been for work trucks to get the job done. With hundreds of dirt alleys across town, companies like Cox Communications had trouble getting trucks through the mud to fix uncovered cable cords and check service.

The muddy alleys also slowed LP&L trucks, as they were trying to reach their regular daily customers. One employee said, "the alleys are terribly muddy right now, so it just takes a lot longer to get things done."

Companies are working as fast as they can, so if you are waiting for service, they ask that customers be patient as they are trying to stay on schedule.
