Former Panhandle District Attorney Sentenced To Prison

He used to prosecute criminals and send them to jail. Now, a former Panhandle District Attorney is going to jail.

Wednesday, an Amarillo judge sentenced Rick Roach to five years in prison. He was arrested in early 2005 for possession of drugs and handguns.

Roach pleaded guilty in exchange for the dismissal of cocaine and meth charges.
