Allstate Insurance Finds "Safe Drivers" In Lubbock - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Here's a statistic that might surprise you. Lubbock drivers are among the best in Texas. That's according to a new survey released by Allstate Insurance.

Allstate compared collision damage claims in 196 cities with a population of 100,000 plus for a two year period. On average, a driver in the U.S. will have an accident every ten years. Lubbock rated slightly below that at 10.2 years, meaning Lubbock drivers are 1.75% less likely to get in an accident than the average American.

In Texas, Lubbock ranks fourth on the best driving city list and 55th in the nation.
