Whiteface Students Win National Competition - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

NewsChannel 11 would like to say congratulations to Whiteface elementary. A group of sixth graders from Whiteface flew into Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport Friday with medals around their necks.

The students won first place in the U.S. Army's Cyber mission competition in Washington D.C. It's a national web-based competition where students work math and science problems.

Each Whiteface student won an $8,000 savings bond.
