Children's Safety and Health Carnival

The Children's Safety and Health Carnival was held at Covenant Children's Hospital Saturday. Parents and their kids learned about summertime safety as well as injury prevention, but also tips that help year-round like making healthy food choices and exercising for the kids.

A special donation was given to covenant during the carnival. Kohl's department store presented a check for $18,796. Kohl's also donated an armoire full of products that children may need in case of an emergency, including clothes, toothbrushes, and other essentials.
