Around 7:30 a.m. Thursday morning, we received a call to 2611 22nd Street in reference to a vehicle that had been vandalized. When officers arrived, they observed multiple vehicles in the 2600 block of 22nd Street appeared to have their windows shot out. One of the vehicle’s windows were not shattered, but there were dents on the door consistent with damage caused by a BB or pellet gun.

After collecting information from the victims, the officers drove block by block in the area to see if other vehicles had been vandalized. They discovered several more vehicles had damaged windows in the 2700 block of 24th Street. More damaged vehicles were located in 2700 and 2800 blocks of 25th Street.

Total, there were 19 vehicles found damaged this morning.

At this time a suspect has not been located. Police are actively investigating this case.
