Red Raiders fall to Texas A&M

HOUSTON, TX (KCBD) -

The 10th ranked Red Raiders bats were silenced and start Davis Martin only went 3.2 innings as #15 Texas A&M won 9-0 in the first game at the Shriners College Classic in Houston.

Martin allowed 8 hits and 5 runs in his time on the mound. The Aggies were facing the Red Raiders on the baseball diamond for the first time since they left the Big 12 after the 2012 season.

A&M had 15 hits on the afternoon while the Red raiders only had 3 hits off Brigham Hill.

The Red raiders now face #8 Ole Miss 12:05 tomorrow and then play #2 LSU 10:05 Sunday morning.

Texas Tech falls to 9-2 with the loss today.
