LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

A car crashed into a house at 46th & Salem Avenue on Monday afternoon.

It happened around 2:15 p.m.

The homeowner says the driver lost control of her vehicle shortly after 2 p.m. and crashed into the side of his home, flipping the vehicle over.

That made a large hole in his dining area, but the homeowner says no one was injured during this incident.

The homeowner says he actually built part of the home on from a smaller house a while back, and says he's just waiting for some building supplies to patch up this hole.

Police are no longer on scene as of 4 p.m. We're told there is no record of an arrest being made.

We will keep you updated if more details become available.
