Former Lubbock Police Officer Dropped From Civil Lawsuit

Lubbock Sheriff's Office Lubbock Sheriff's Office

The civil suit against a former Lubbock police officer has been dropped.

Blake Littlejohn is currently serving one year probation and was forced to surrender his peace officer license after pleading guilty to harassment. That charge stemmed from a traffic shop in the 1900 block of Avenue L last June. That's where a 20-old woman says she performed a sexual act at Littlejohn's request.

The victim, Rebecca Hernandez was suing both Littlejohn and the City of Lubbock. The lawsuit was dismissed because legally, you can not sue an employer and the employee.

The lawsuit against the city still stands.
