Shallowater Voters Approve $7 Million Bond Proposal - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Shallowater ISD will soon get new classrooms and upgraded sports facilities.

Voters passed a $7.32 million bond this weekend. The money will be used to build a new elementary and add additional space to existing campuses. $1.1 million will be used to upgrade athletic facilities, build new tennis courts and resurface the track.

The school should take construction bids in January, and start breaking ground in the spring.
