LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Lubbock police are investigating a home burglary that happened around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.

It happened in the 4700 block of 29th Street.

The victims say a man wearing a plastic work hat and reflective vest pretended to be a service representative for a gas company to get inside the home.

The male victim struggled with the suspect and was hit on the head. The woman tried to break up the fight and the suspect fled the scene.

He has not been located as of Tuesday evening.

Police do not believe this was a random attack and they don't think this suspect will be targeting other homes.

They are currently investigating to see if there is a connection between the suspect and the victims.

The suspect is described as a bald, black male, with a heavy build and approximately 5'11". If you have any information police ask that you call Crime Line at 741-1000.
