LUBBOCK COUNTY, TX (KCBD) -

A Lubbock County Grand Jury indicted Randy Truett on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon on Tuesday.

Truett is accused of shooting at concerned citizens when they stopped to warn him about a fire in his yard in northeast Lubbock County.

That prompted DPS to call a SWAT team and close a roadway in the area.

Fortunately, no one was injured during the incident.

Truett remains behind bars at the Lubbock County Detention Center on a $100,000 bond.
