Efforts Underway to Renovate 34th Street

An effort to revitalize 34th street is underway. 250 business owners met Monday night to discuss renovations on 34th street. The effort is called "34th and Opportunity".

Lubbock District Attorney Bill Sowder feels good about the meeting. "Anytime a group gets together to know each other, only good can come out of that."

One option discussed to pay for improvements was a possible bond election.
