Seagraves Fire Dept. quickly extinguishes grass fire at softball field

SEAGRAVES, TX (KCBD) -

The Seagraves Fire Department quickly extinguished a fast-moving grass fire at the softball field behind the EMS barn and the swimming pool on Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Seagraves Police Department Facebook page, the firefighters quickly put out the fire.

    Highway 87 from 114th Street to 82nd Street was shut down early Wednesday morning for an investigation of a fatal crash involving a pedestrian. Police have identified the victim as 30-year-old Brodrick Lamar Green.
