TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) -

Reuben Foster had an uneventful Pro Day in Tuscaloosa, he didn't workout or talk to the media. However the former Bama star linebacker was still the big story. And while Foster was silent, his former teammates and college head coach had his back in support.

"I know Reuben Foster," said Alabama head Coach Nick Saban. "You want a linebacker or a candy striper?"

While none of his former teammates said they saw the incident that led to Foster being sent home Friday from the NFL combine, they all supported Foster as a teammate.

"He's a great guy," said former Tide tight end O.J. Howard. "He always pushed us at practice and he was always a hard worker."

Despite Foster's recent off the field trouble, those that know him best believe he'll still be a first round draft pick in April. Words Reuben Foster is happy to hear.

Raul Castro's departure from the presidency is a symbolically charged moment for a country that has been under the absolute rule of one family since the Cuban revolution of the 1950s.
