LPD searching for armed and dangerous man in connection to Tuesday's burglary

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

The Lubbock Police Department is searching for 36-year-old Donovan Osby.

Police say an arrest warrant was issued for him on Friday, for burglary of a habitation with the intent to commit another felony.

Osby is wanted in connection to Tuesday's home burglary that happened in the 4700 block of 29th Street.

Police say a man wearing a plastic work hat and reflective vest pretended to be a service representative for a gas company to get inside the home.

The male victim struggled with the suspect and was hit on the head. The woman tried to break up the fight ad the suspect fled the scene.

Investigators tell us Osby's bond has been set at $500,000.

He is 5'10 and weighs 265 pounds.

Police say Osby is considered armed and dangerous.
